Hello - I'm looking to do a show in Raleigh area June 1 - I do a 1 man trio.
"Panther Sequoia is a multi-instrumentalist, who excels at songwriting and improvisation. Formerly with the Violent Femmes, he now travels as a troubadour and one-man-trio (playing drums with his feet, other instruments with his hands). Panther will wow you into a rarefied sonic zone you won't want to come down out of. Lyrical love songs in altered droney tunings, and chaotic avant-pop rhythms beyond the simplistic house music of corporate-state mind control, Panther will wake you up and set you on your way beyond formulaic cliche, while lulling you in with just enough familiar hooks to maintain your sanity."
